Jun 16, 2020 · High-throughput sequencing technology and PICRUSt (phylogenetic investigation of communities by reconstruction of unobserved state) were applied to examine the microbial population dynamics during the composting of dairy manure and rice straw in a static composting system to provide a better understanding for bacterial community composition and
May 2, 2022 · The acetate was the main volatile fatty acid (VFA) produced during sole chicken manure fermentation process in the first stage. Statistical analysis revealed that hydrogen production from co-digestion process and sole food waste fermentation process followed the n-butyrate-type pathway.
Apr 1, 2024 · The obtained conclusion is basically that the substrate significant affected the co-fermentation performance, and the volatile solid removal efficiencies were promoted in co-digestion process compared with sole chicken manure digestion, which were increased by 9.7–14.4% [21]. Therefore, the joint treatment of sludge and chicken manure has

Abstract. This paper performs a batch experiment for pre-acidification treatment and methane production from chicken manure by the two-stage anaerobic fermentation process. Results shows that the acetate was the main component in volatile fatty acids produced at the end of pre-acidification stage, accounting for 68% of the total amount.

Because the ratio of carbon-nitrogen in chicken manure is high, some straw and mushroom residue should be added during fermentation. Step 3: Adjusting the moisture of chicken manure In the process of fermenting organic fertilizers, whether the moisture content is appropriate is very important. It should not be too high or too low.

Oct 18, 2023 · Free volatile fatty acids (free VFA) play a crucial role in the inactivation of pathogens during the anaerobic digestion of animal manure. However, the decomposition of nitrogenous components can release alkaline ammonium-N, which might increase the pH and reduce the concentration of free VFA. In this study, continuous anaerobic digestion of high-solid chicken manure was conducted for 150 days

Jan 4, 2022 · The fermentation process of chicken manure organic composting can be simply divided into the following 4 stages as following. The fever stage. In the initial stage of compost production, the microorganisms in the compost are mainly of medium temperature and aerobic species, and the more common ones are non-spore bacteria, spore bacteria and molds.
May 2, 2023 · Anaerobic digestion of animal manure results in the production of renewable energy (biogas) and nutrient-rich biofertilizer. A further benefit of the technology is decreased greenhouse gas emissions that otherwise occur during manure storage. Since animal manure makes anaerobic digestion cost-efficient and further advance the technology for higher methane yields, it is of utmost importance to
However, studies on dry anaerobic digestion of chicken manure have proven the possibility of methane production under fermentation of chicken manure with high total solids content, but the process has been described as being unstable.
